Games release nowadays on lots of platforms. As they should, since you want to reach out to as many potential players as possible.
In order to do that you need to port your game to the respective platforms. This talk will explain what it takes, what to keep in mind and what you absolutely should not do when porting to console platforms like Nintendo/PlayStation/Xbox.
Slawa Deisling is the Co-Founder and programmer of the Hamburg based indie studio „Behind The Stone“. Busy with working on their next game, a 2D horror project with the WIP title „Melodies“, they got to keep the lights on with a bunch of freelance work, like for example 2D animations/illustrations, lecturing at universities or doing console ports.
